For service: the drive feeds the floor.
Service sees many of your customers more often than sales does. Track the appointments, the follow-up calls and the handoffs to sales, against a daily goal (20 to start).
What it does
- Service appointments set logged as activity.
- Service follow-up calls after the visit, counted.
- Service-to-sales handoffs: when a customer in the drive is a buyer, the handoff is logged on the customer's record for the salesperson who picks it up.
- A daily goal for service, starting at 20.
- One contact record shared by sales and service, so everyone sees the last call before making the next one.

How it works, day to day
An advisor writes up a customer whose car needs more than it's worth. They log a service-to-sales handoff. The next salesperson to open the contact sees it and can call while the car is still in for service.
After the visit, a follow-up call goes on the list. It counts toward the advisor's goal.
Service history from your DMS (repair orders) comes later, with DMS connections. Until then, service activity is logged in the CRM.
